Addendum to the Barber Violin Concerto notes

In our November 2014 concert program and in our November concert edition of “Manny’s Musings,” Music Director & Conductor Manny Laureano shared commonly recognized information about the origin of the Violin Concerto written by Samuel Barber. After finding these program notes on our website, one of the representatives of Mr. Briselli’s estate reached out to the Bloomington Symphony and asked us to share their side of the story.
