The BSO will conclude its sixty-first season with a concert guaranteed to get you thinking outside the box… or the galaxy! We’ll start off by honoring American composer Leonard Bernstein with a performance of his beloved Overture to West Side Story. After we present violist Celine Bares, this year’s Grand Prize Winner of the MNSOTA Mary West Solo Competition, the BSO will end the season with the full forces necessary to bring to you The Planets, by English composer Gustav Holst, with help from the Normandale College Concert Choir and Angelica Encore Choral Ensemble.
