Why Give?

The Bloomington Symphony Orchestra is able to present outstanding concerts, engaging high quality artists and staff, to contribute to the vibrant cultural community in Bloomington and in the wider Twin Cities metro area. Approximately 40% of our income is derived from individual patrons, family foundations, and business sponsors. We are further supported by the Resident Arts Support Grant from the City of Bloomington, community foundations, membership dues, and ticket sales.

Every dollar of support from patron donors, and business sponsors is carefully spent to maximize the meaningful contribution from these individuals. Your contributions provide the areas best volunteer musicians an opportunity to perform for engaged and grateful audiences in Bloomington.

The BSO is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.

The Bloomington Symphony Orchestra Association Inc.’s Federal Tax ID is 41-1424520.
