Please join the Bloomington Symphony Orchestra as they present orchestral works that are old friends, along with some new acquaintances! We welcome viola soloist George Taylor in performances of the music of Georg Philipp Telemann and Adolphus Hailstork. As bookends for this program, the BSO will play two Nordic favorites: the overture from Carl Nielsen’s comic opera, Maskarade, and the beloved Second Symphony of Jean Sibelius. Come and celebrate making new musical friends and rekindling old flames!
